In an effort to ensure longevity through providing outstanding service to our members, chapters and corporate alliances, the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources has expanded its National Board of Directors to include critical roles, such as DE&I and Talent Acquisition leaders, Global Leadership Institute executives, and a Grant Writer. In addition to the established Board of Directors, these incumbents will have general charge and supervision over the operational affairs of the Association, attend all meetings of the National Board of Directors, and members of the Executive Committee with voting rights.

All local NAAAHR Chapters provide professional development training for our members throughout the year via webinars and in-person regional/National events. The trainings are designed to prepare individuals with critical skills to be effective leaders, which include but not limited to the following: succession planning, strategic planning, leadership development, fiscal management, resource development and HRCI certifications at all levels.
Fostering professionalism and enhance business acumen through effective leadership development.
Cultivating and developing the leadership capabilities of the collective governing body of our chapters and their members.
