THE NAAAHR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE
In order to foster longevity through providing outstanding service to our members, chapters and corporate alliances, the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources seeks to install a full-time salaried Executive Director. The incumbent will have general charge and supervision over the operational affairs of the Association, shall attend all meetings of the National Board of Directors, will be a member of the Executive Committee and shall be an ex-officio and nonvoting member.
The Sustainability Initiative is central to successfully implementing the overall strategic plans of the organization which include:
· Stakeholder Relationships
· Infrastructure and Operational Excellence
THE NAAAHR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE
All local NAAAHR Board of Directors professional development training for The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources is provided throughout the year via teleseminars and during regional/national events. These trainings are designed to prepare board members with critical skills which include, but are not limited to the following: succession planning, strategic planning, leadership development, fiscal management and resource development.
· To cultivate and develop the leadership capabilities of the collective governing body of our chapters and their members.
· To provide practical leadership development tools and resources to help board members address Human Resources issues and various leadership challenges.
